Border War Cancelled Due to Weather

The Golden Hurricane dropped two more games to Mother Nature, as the Border War was cancelled due to inclement weather.

Stillwater, Okla. - The annual Border War with Arkansas, Oklahoma State and The University of Tulsa has been cancelled due to weather. TU was scheduled to face the Lady'Backs at 3 p.m. and the Cowgirls at 5 p.m. However, heavy rains in Stillwater during the morning and more rain on the way have made for less than favorable conditions.

The Golden Hurricane will jump back into Conference USA play on Saturday with a three-game series with East Carolina. TU and the Pirates will play a doubleheader on Saturday beginning at 12 noon CST. Sunday's series finale is also scheduled for 12 noon.
