Tulsa's Ramsdell Chosen in USBL Draft

Enid, Okla. - University of Tulsa senior basketball player Charles Ramsdell was selected in the fourth round of the United States Basketball League (USBL) Draft by the Oklahoma Storm. Ramsdell was the seventh pick in the fourth round and the 37th pick overall in the draft.
Ramsdell, a 6'10" forward from Kingfisher, Oklahoma, played in 110 career games and started 48 contests. He had career averages of 5.4 points and 3.6 rebounds and scoring in double-figures in 20 career games. This past year, Ramsdell averaged 6.5 points and 4.2 rebounds while helping the Golden Hurricane post a 20-11 overall record. He had eight double-figure scoring games and season-highs of 15 points and 10 rebounds this season.
The Storm also drafted Oklahoma's Nate Carter, Gary Nunez of Northwestern Oklahoma State and Mario Boggan of Oklahoma State.
The Oklahoma Storm is coached by Roy Rogers and plays at the Mark Price Arena in Enid, Oklahoma. The 30-game schedule for the Storm begins on April 22.
