  • Tulsa game captains were G.J. Kinne, Mike Bryan and George Clinkscale.
  • Tulsa's 191 total yards in the first quarter was the most first quarter yards for the Hurricane this season. The previous-high was 154 yards against Houston.
  • Charles Clay had his sixth career game with at least two touchdowns, and the fifth time that he has scored a rushing and receiving touchdown.
  • G.J. Kinne had Tulsa's longest run of the season with a 55-yard touchdown in the second quarter, bettering his previous long of 45 yards in the season opener against Tulane.
  • Damaris Johnson moved into 4th place on Conference USA's career kickoff return yardage list in the second quarter on hi third return. He ended the first half with four returns for 92 yards. He began the game with 2,332 career kickoff return yards and ended the first half with 2,424 yards to surpass Memphis Michael Grandberry's (2005-08) total of 2,401 yards.
  • Tulsa's 16-play touchdown drive in the second quarter was the longest of the year, bettering the previous long of 12 against New Mexico.
  • Tulsa's 28 points in the first half was the second-most of the year in the first half, as only the 35 first-half yards against Sam Houston State was better.
  • The combined 62 first-half points by the two teams was the most this year in a Tulsa game, bettering the 45 combined points in the Houston contest.
  • Damaris Johnson went over 100 receiving yards for the sixth time this season and for the fourth straight game. It was also his eighth career 100+ receiving game. The last time a Tulsa player had at least six 100+ receiving games was Brennan Marion's six in the 2007 season.
  • G.J. Kinne moved into 10th place on the school's single-season passing list, surpassing T.J. Rubley's 1989 total of 2,292 yards.
  • Tulsa had two 100+ yard receivers in the game, Damaris Johnson and Charles Clay, the first time since last year's New Mexico game when Slick Shelley and Damaris Johnon accomplished that feat.
  • Tulsa's 589 yards of total offense was the best of the season and the third time that the Hurricane went over 500 yards this season.
  • For the third straight game, Damaris Johnson went over 300 all-purpose yards with 320 yards against USM.
  • Damaris Johnson went over 1,000 receiving yards for the season with 196 receiving yards tonight. It marks the first time in school history that Tulsa has had a 1,000-yard receiver in three straight seasons.
  • The six-game losing streak for the Hurricane is the longest since the 2002 season when Tulsa lost seven games.
