TU Women's Soccer Team Hosts East Carolina on Friday

Tulsa, Oklahoma - The Tulsa women's soccer team returns home to host East Carolina on Friday beginning at 7:00 pm at the Hurricane Soccer and Track Stadium. Tickets are $5 and can be purchased at the north ticket gate.
TU enters the contest with an 8-5-2 overall record and a 2-3-1 mark in Conference USA. Eleven Tulsa women's soccer players have scored a goal this season, including five by Claire Nicholson, three by both Lindsay Kirch and Stephanie Aitken, and two from Claire Hulcer. Katie Bykowski has logged over 1,266 minutes in goal, picked up 50 saves and earned seven shutouts on the year.
ECU has a 6-5-1 record, but are 1-4 in league play. The Pirates are led by Caty Butler with seven goals and three assists for 17 points, while Kimmy Cummings has six goals and three assists for 15 points. Christiane Cordero has played more than 1,000 minutes in goal, has allowed 18 goals for a 1.52 goals-against average, and has 45 saves for a .714 saves percentage.
TU will battle for its first win over ECU as the Pirates have won all five previous meetings with the Golden Hurricane.
