Tulsa Head Coach John Bargfeldt

Opening comment
"[I am] proud of the team. We asked them to do what they've done all year. We asked them to come back after a tough loss and show some energy. Getting on the board early was obviously a big key to the game, and we just keep getting early off bat. Jordan (Kinard) did a good job of keeping them off balance. I told her before a couple of innings to not give them any reason to believe that things are going to shift right here."

On who will be pitching tomorrow
"My decision will probably come tomorrow morning. Going down the stretch we use Aimee (Creger) quite a bit, and so neither Jordan (Kinard) nor Lacey (Middlebrooks) had a lot of innings. It will be interesting to see how they bounce back. Even though what you say them throwing inning wise in the game, they were throwing pitches in the bullpen also. We will take a body/health check in the morning."

On the offense as a whole
"I think the problem with Aimee (Creger) is that certain movements that causes the flare. Those movements seem to be when she is rotating the hips and moving those. You never know though she will get treatment tonight and treatment in the morning so we will see how it goes from there."

On how to hit against Keilani Ricketts tomorrow
"(Keilani) Ricketts is always tough to hit. You don't see too many people putting crooked numbers up against her. I think we can go out there and try to pitch and hit. One thing I did like that our team did today was that we only had seven strikeouts against Ricketts today, so we were moving the ball. We will take that and hopefully build upon that and that ball movement will hopefully turn into hits. I think it was important too today that we got out of here in five innings, so that leaves our pitchers a little fresher for tomorrow."

Senior Pitcher Jordan Kinard

On getting motivated after the loss
"After the first game we kind of talked about it as a team, and how we couldn't really let this bring us down. We still had to look at our ultimate goal, which is winning a regional. We talked about refocusing. So we pulled out some corny motivational quotes to help keep us going. We really lifted each other up, and it was very encouraging."

On her play and tomorrow
"I felt pretty in control with everything. I think whatever we need as a team all three of us pitchers will be ready to go out tomorrow. I am not sure of the order or anything for tomorrow, but we will be ready."
