TULSA, Okla. - The University of Tulsa cross country teams traveled back home for a dual meet with Houston following the rainout of the Missouri Southern Stampede in Joplin, Mo.
Both the men and women defeated the Cougars Saturday afternoon at Hurricane Soccer and Track Stadium.
The men took down the Cougars 23-38 in a four-mile race, and the women won the two-mile competition by a score of 16-47.
Senior Paulo Pinheiro won the men's competition with a mark of 19:05, and senior Paula Whiting took the women's race with a time of 10:49.
