TULSA POSTGAME NOTES VS. NORTH TEXAS IN C-USA CHAMPIONSHIP

• Seniors Jill Barrett and Shelby Blanton and junior Erica Sampson each earned their 56th starts of the season.
• Barrett started her 232nd consecutive career game. She has started every game in her four-year career.
• Senior Aimee Creger made her 31th appearance and 30th start of the season, and her 106th career start.
• Tulsa won its school-record 49th game of the season as it improved to 49-7 on the year. The win total surpasses the previous record of 48 wins set by the 2002 team.
• Creger picked up her school-record 26th win of the season, improving her record to 26-1. She broke her own mark of 25 wins, set in 2013.
• With eight strikeouts on Friday, Creger now has 314 strikeouts this year and 1,040 strikeouts in her career.
• Barrett scored her 177th career run, tying Lauren Lindsay (2007-10) for the school record.
• Junior Erica Sampson hit her team-leading 11th home run of the season on Friday.
• Barrett scored her 53rd run of the season. She needs two runs to tie Caitlin Everett (2010-13) for the single season school record of 55 set in 2012.
• With the win, Tulsa advanced to its fifth C-USA title game, all in the last nine years. TU has won three of those championship games, giving it a 3-1 record in C-USA Championships.
• Tulsa will play Marshall in the C-USA Championship game Saturday, the third time it will have faced the Thundering Herd in that setting. TU won the previous two meetings, 3-0 in 2006, and 3-2 in 2012.
• Tulsa improved its all-time record in the C-USA Tournament to 14-7.
• Tulsa has totaled 191 walks this season, a school record. The total surpasses the previous record of 190, set in 2006.
