Brackets, TU Opponents for MGM Grand Main Event Released

TULSA, Okla. - The Tulsa men's basketball team will face off against Auburn on Monday, Nov. 24 in the Heavyweight bracket of the MGM Grand Main Event at the MGM Grand Garden in Las Vegas, the tournament and ESPN announced Tuesday.
The Golden Hurricane will play Auburn at 10 p.m. CT in a contest that will be nationally televised on ESPNU. Oklahoma State and Oregon State play at 7:30 p.m. CT, prior to the TU game. The winners will meet for the Heavyweight bracket championship at 10:30 p.m. CT Wednesday, Nov. 26 on ESPN2, preceded by the third place game to be played at 8 p.m. CT.
Tulsa will also play opening round games at home sites against Oral Roberts and Louisiana-Lafayette. The Hurricane plays at ORU Nov. 15 at the Mabee Center, before playing host to ULL at the Donald W. Reynolds Center on Nov. 17.
Tickets and hotel rooms for the two Tulsa games in Las Vegas are available now. Tickets are being sold now for team fan sections as tournament packs, at prices ranging from $59-$91. The tickets packages for the TU fans can be purchased through www.ticketmaster.com. Hotel rooms are also available at the MGM Grand Hotel, and reservations can be made at www.mgmgrand.com/hotel.
