TULSA POSTGAME NOTES VS. MEMPHIS

• Tulsa wore black uniforms vs. Memphis. It was the ninth time this season TU has worn black. TU is 7-2 in black uniforms this year.

• Junior guards Shaquille Harrison, Rashad Smith and James Woodard, and junior forward D'Andre Wright all started their 18th games of the season, and junior guard Marquel Curtis started his 13th game of the season.

• Harrison started his 85th career game, Woodard started his 81st career game, Wright started his 47th career game, Smith started his 46th career game, and Curtis started his 14th career game.

• Harrison has started all 85 games in his career, Woodard has started 59 straight games, Wright has started 38 straight games, and Smith has started 23 straight games.

• Tulsa increased its winning streak to eight in a row.

• The Hurricane improved its record to 6-0 in American Athletic Conference play, and its home record to 8-2.

• Tulsa's 6-0 conference record is its best start in league play since the 1984-85 team started league play 8-0.

• The win was TU's first against Memphis in Tulsa since a 90-85 victory on Jan. 16, 1971. It snapped a streak of 11 straight wins by the Tigers in Tulsa.

• Tulsa improved its record when leading at halftime to 12-0 this season. The Hurricane also improved to 11-0 when it holds its opponent to fewer than 65 points.

• Tulsa has won 17 games in a row against conference opponents, dating back to the 2013-14 season.

• Tulsa has allowed no more than 58 points in any conference game this season, and in seven straight games overall.

• Shaquille Harrison set a new career high with 10 rebounds. His previous career best was eight rebounds, on four occasions - the latest was March 15, 2014 against Louisiana Tech in the Conference USA Championship Finals.

• Harrison tallied six assists, four steals and no turnovers. It was the third time he has recorded at least five assists with no turnovers this season, and the four steals matched his season high. He had five assists and zero turnovers against Abilene Christian (11/19) and Oklahoma (12/13).

• With 18 points, Harrison extended his streak of games scoring in double digits to 12. Woodard scored 16 points, and has scored in double figures in eight straight contests.

• Brandon Swannegan recorded at least one block for the 14th game this season. He has a team-high 24 blocks this year, and 94 in his career, ranking eighth all-time at TU.

• With 16 points in the game, Woodard now has 1,191 points in his career, ranking 22nd on the Tulsa career scoring chart, 18 points behind 21st place Michael Ruffin (1,209 - 1995-99).

• Tulsa held Memphis to a .417 field goal percentage. It was the 17th time in 18 games, and the 13th straight time TU has held its opponent under 50 percent from the field.

• Tulsa's 13-5 start is its best 18-game record since the 2009-10 team started 15-3.
