Practice Day 1 Interview

TULSA, Okla. – The Tulsa men's basketball team held its first practice of the 2015-16 season Saturday morning, an open workout in front of fans at the Donald W. Reynolds Center prior to the TU football game against Houston.

"Our energy was a typical first day of practice," Tulsa Head Coach Frank Haith said. "The guys were excited about getting out here. I think we competed and we got after it. I told the guys, the really, really good teams have that energy not only after the first day, but after the third day and the fourth day – that's a team that wins a championship. Our goal is to win championships here, and this team understands that we have to have that same type of mindset day in and day out."
