• Tulsa wore black uniforms at UConn. It was the 13th time this season TU has worn black. TU is 10-3 in black uniforms this year.

• Junior guards Shaquille Harrison, Rashad Smith and James Woodard, and junior forward D'Andre Wright all started their 24th games of the season, and junior guard Rashad Ray started his seventh game of the season.

• Harrison started his 91st career game, Woodard started his 87th career game, Wright started his 53rd career game, Smith started his 52nd career game, and Ray started his seventh career game.

• Harrison has started all 91 games in his career, Woodard has started 65 straight games, Wright has started 44 straight games, and Smith has started 29 straight games.

• Tulsa's 45 points was its lowest scoring output of the season. The previous low was 53 points in a win over Auburn on Nov. 24.

• Tulsa's 17 first half points matched the lowest first-half total of the season. TU also scored 17 points on Jan. 10 at Temple.

• The loss ended a seven-game road winning streak for the Hurricane, and a six-game conference road winning streak. The seven consecutive road wins was the second-longest in program history.

• Tulsa has lost two games in a row for the third time this season. The Hurricane also lost two straight on Nov. 26 and Nov. 29, and on Dec. 10 and Dec. 13.

• Woodard was held scoreless in the game for the first time since Feb. 20, 2013 against East Carolina.
