Hurricane Arrives in Hartford

HARTFORD, Conn. - The Tulsa basketball team has arrived in Hartford, Conn., site of the 2015 American Athletic Conference Championship. The second-seeded Golden Hurricane opens the tournament at 6 p.m. Friday in the quarterfinals against the winner of the first round matchup between seventh-seeded Tulane and 10th-seeded Houston.

The Hurricane had a team dinner Wednesday night after arriving in snowy Connecticut. The team will practice Thursday afternoon, as it continues preparations for its opening contest.

Earlier Wednesday, head coach Frank Haith met with Tulsa media before the team departed, to preview the conference tournament.
