Basketball Media Day Previews 2016-17 Season

TULSA, Okla. – Tulsa held its 2016 men's basketball Media Day on Thursday, with a press conference and media interviews previewing the 2016-17 season.

The Golden Hurricane is entering its third season under Head Coach Frank Haith, and has a retooled team that includes five returning players and 10 newcomers. TU is coming off an appearance in the NCAA Tournament, and looking forward to beginning a new chapter in Tulsa basketball's golden history. Watch Haith's Media Day press conference here.

Tulsa is in preparations for the season opener, which takes place Nov. 11 at 7 p.m. against Jacksonville State at the Donald W. Reynolds Center. TU will play exhibition games against Oklahoma Christian on Nov. 2, and Northeastern State on Nov. 7 at the Reynolds Center.

The Golden Hurricane faces Oklahoma Christian on Nov. 2 and Northeastern State on Nov. 7 in its exhibition contests at the Donald W. Reynolds Center. The season opener is Friday, Nov. 11 against Jacksonville State at 7 p.m. at the Reynolds Center.
