Will Magnay is a 6-10 freshman forward from Brisbane, Australia. He competed this summer for the Emerging Boomers squad, a junior national team for Australia, and helped lead the team to two tournament wins during a tour in China, where they defeated a Chinese professional team, Cameroon national team, and a junior national squad from Serbia. At the U20 Australian Junior Championships last February, he was named the top defensive player and a first-team all-tournament selection, after averaging a tournament-high 9.4 rebounds per game, along with 9.3 points and 3.3 blocks per contest. He attended the Australian Institute of Sport – the same school attended by current NBA players Andrew Bogut, Dante Exum, Joe Ingles and Patty Mills.
