Tulsa Men Golfers Finish in 15th Place at Little Rock/First Tee Classic

The Tulsa men's golf team finished in 15th place at the Little Rock/First Tee Classic after carding a final round 318 for a 54-hole total of 943 at the par-72 Chenal Country Club.
Freshman Jack Knoesel finished the tournament in 22nd place with a total score of 228 after a final round 76, while Matthew Marquez shot a final round 79 and completed the tournament with a score of 236. Francisco Yanez placed 65th with a score of 238, while Sam Humphreys' score of 241 was good for 73rd place. Preston Crawford finished in 84th place with a 260 total.
Lipscomb University captured the team title with a score of 884, 14 strokes better than second-place Tennessee-Martin. UT-Martin's Hunter Richardson won medalist honors by winning a playoff over Lipscomb's Eric Ansett after the two tied for first-place with scores of one-under par 215.
Tulsa will be in action next at The Maxwell Invitational, April 16-17, in Ardmore, Oklahoma.
