Tulsa Men Golfers Finish in 11th Place at The Maxwell

The Tulsa men's golf team finished in 11th place at The Maxwell Tournament as the third round was cancelled on Sunday due to poor weather conditions. On Saturday, the Hurricane turned in rounds of 303 and 288 for a 36-hole score of 591 at the par-70 Dornick Hills Black Course in Ardmore, Oklahoma.
Freshman Jack Knoesel was Tulsa's top finisher with a 44th place performance after rounds of 70-75 for a total of 145.
Texas won the team title with a 547 total, while Texas' Gavin Hall captured individual medalist honors with a six-under par score of 134.
Tulsa will be in action next at the American Athletic Conference Championships, May 1-3, at the Black Diamond Ranch – Quarry Course in Lecanto, Florida.
