Cain’s on Chapman Concert Series Just One of Many Fan Experience Enhancements for Tulsa Football in 2018

TULSA, Okla. –– Whiskey Poets Society will open the inaugural Cain's on Chapman Concert series prior to Tulsa's season opener against UCA this Saturday, Sept. 1. The concert begins at 4:00 p.m. at Chapman Commons and kickoff is set for 6:05 p.m. at H.A. Chapman Stadium.

The Concert Series on Chapman Commons is just one of the many new enhancements for fans surrounding Golden Hurricane home football games this year.

The enhancements started with the various new and improved ticket options available for fans in 2018.
• $60 General Admission seating
• All-Sport Flex Book packages featuring two plans –– the Standard Plan and the Premium Plan –– can be used at football or any other ticketed TU sport. Fans can purchase five or 10 vouchers in each of the Standard and Premium Plans.
• An improved Mazzio's Family Ticket Plan that is more convenient for one's family size, starting at $100 – $75 for one adult ticket and $25 for one youth ticket.

Season tickets and single game tickets, beginning at $15, are available online at TulsaHurricane.com, by calling 918.631.GoTU (4688) or stopping by the Reynolds Center Ticket Office, Mon-Fri., 8:30 am-5 pm.

Pre-game tailgating has only gotten better as Tulsa formed a partnership with the Tailgate company, Blockparty, to provide turnkey and custom tailgates for TU fans. Fans can get more information on tailgating by going to: Blockpartypresents.com/Tulsa.

On Chapman Commons, Golden Hurricane Club members will have an expanded and refreshed GHC Touchdown Tailgate Tent.

The 'Team Walk Tradition' continues down Glenn Dobbs Drive (8^th Street) when the team arrives on campus, approximately two hours and 15 minutes prior to game time. Fans are encouraged to 'GET LOUD' as the Hurricane team is led to its locker room by the spirit teams and drum corps.

Inside the stadium, fans will notice the new LED ribbon board in the north end zone that will display in-game crowd prompts and game information.

The ONEOK Club, located on the second level of the press box, has undergone a complete renovation. In addition, the Chapman Stadium Suites have also been refurbished. Limited tickets in the Club area are still available and can be purchased by calling 918.631.GoTU (4688).

The Mazzio's Family Fun Zone Play Area is located behind Section 114 (southwest side of the stadium), while the Family Fun Zone seats have moved from the End Zone to Section 114. The Kids Zone area will feature bounce houses, photo station, face-painting and more.

A customer service booth for questions concerning the stadium and game is located behind Section 121 in the northwest corner of the stadium.

The Sound of the Hurricane and the TU student section has moved closer to the action into Sections 107 and 108 on the southeast side of the stadium to help improve the in-game atmosphere.

Another new feature will allow TU fans to use their mobile phone to purchase once-in-a-lifetime experiences, season and single-game parking passes and seat upgrades thanks to Tulsa's partnership with Experience, an award-winning mobile commerce, ticketing and data solutions technology company.

A community-wide initiative to recognize and honor local police, fire and EMS personnel has been announced for this week's season opener vs. UCA. The game has also been designated as a WHITE-OUT game as all fans are encouraged to wear white. The first 1,000 fans will receive a white #ForOurCity/Tulsa flag t-shirt.
