Tulsa Soccer Teams Sweep American Athletic Conference Rookie of the Week Honors

Tulsa men's soccer player Gilles Kuhler and women's soccer player Mia Darden were tabbed as the American Athletic Conference Rookie of the Week for their respective sports.

Kuhler scored two goals, including the game-winner, to lead Tulsa to a 3-2 win over North Florida. He had just two shots for two goals in 60 minutes of play. Kuhler also had one attempt in 52 minutes of play against UNLV.

Darden scored two goals for Tulsa in a 4-1 win over Sam Houston State. She scored in the 8th and 57th minutes for the first and third goals for TU, and had six shots, three of which were on goal against the Bearkats in 54 minutes of play. Darden had one shot, which was on goal, in 45 minutes of play against Arkansas State.
