• This is the first meeting between Tulsa and Austin Peay.

THE LAST HOME GAME
• Tulsa moved to 2-0 at home this season with a 74-67 win over cross-town rival Oral Roberts in the Mayor's Cup on Tuesday.
• Newcomers Brandon Rachal and Isaiah Hill led the way for Tulsa. Rachal had a game-high 24 points and added 9 rebounds, while Hill, in the starting lineup for his first time, had 12 points and a team-high 8 assists.
Darien Jackson led Tulsa in rebounding with 11 boards and added 6 points, 4 assists and 2 steals.
• Tulsa led 32-28 at halftime, but lost the lead at the 14:15 mark of the 2nd half at 43-42.
• ORU maintained the lead for nearly the next 4 minutes until Rachal's layup knotted the game at 50-50 with 10:32 on the clock … from that point, Tulsa went on a 15-5 run over the next 7 minutes.
• Tulsa led by as many as 10 points in the second half at 65-55.
 
SHARING THE WEALTH
• In Tulsa's first 3 games it has been a different player who has stepped up to lead the Hurricane, including 3 different leading scorers.
• In the opener against Houston Baptist, junior Jeriah Horne led the scoring with 22 points in a starting role, while Brandon Rachal had a double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds
• Against UTA, Reggie Jones came off the bench to lead Tulsa with 19 points and added 5 rebounds … Darien Jackson had a team-high 7 boards and added 12 points off the bench.
• In the ORU game, Rachal led the Tulsa in scoring with 24 points and added 9 rebounds …freshman Isaiah Hill added 12 points and a team-high 8 assists, while Jackson had a team-high 11 rebounds.
 
IN THE PAINT
• In the 3 games this season, Tulsa is scoring 49.7-percent of its points in the paint (106 of 213 total points).
• Tulsa  averages 19.3 more points in the paint than its opponents.
• The Hurricane tallied 48 points in the paint in the season opener vs. Houston Baptist, 22 at UT-Arlington and 36 against Oral Roberts.
• The biggest margin was a 28-point margin for in the paint scoring against HBU (48 to 20).
 
NEW LINEUP
Frank Haith used a new starting lineup in Tulsa's last outing against ORU with Martins Igbanu, Brandon Rachal, Lawson Korita, Darien Jackson and Isaiah Hill.
• The starters scored 89-percent of Tulsa's points (66 of 74 points) , while shooting .575 from the field, and also had 13 of the team's 16 assists, all 7 steals and 27 of 44 rebounds.
• Four of the starters (Rachal, Korita, Hill, Igbanu) scored in double-digits, while the 5th starter (Jackson) had double-digit rebounds.
 
NEWCOMERS MAKING EARLY IMPACT
Brandon Rachal, a JC transfer in his first season, leads Tulsa in scoring (12.7) and rebounding (7.7), while shooting 45-percent from the field and 90-percent from the free throw line… he had a season-high 24 points vs. ORU and 10 rebounds vs. HBU.
• True freshman Isaiah Hill is scoring at a 5.3 clip and leads the team in assists with 10, a 3.3 average per game… he had season-highs of 12 points and 8 assists vs. ORU.
• Four-year transfer Reggie Jones, who sat out last season after transferring from Western Michigan, averages 8.0 points and 4.0 rebounds … he had a season-high 19 points and 5 rebounds at UTA.
 
JUNIOR JACKSON BRINGS ENERGY
• Junior Darien Jackson has been all over the court in Tulsa's first 3 games and doing a little bit of everything
• He has a double-digit scoring game (12 vs. UTA), a double-digit rebounding game (11 vs. ORU), and had  high games of 5 steals vs. HBU and 4 assists vs. ORU.
• Jackson averages 9.0 points, 7.0 rebounds, 2,3 steals, 2.3 assists while playing 26.2 minutes per game.
