Tulsa Hosts #20 Memphis Wednesday for Coaches vs. Cancer Suits & Sneakers Game

TULSA, Okla. –– The Annual Coaches vs. Cancer Suits and Sneakers Game is scheduled for this Wednesday when the Tulsa Golden Hurricane hosts the #20-ranked Memphis Tigers. Tip-off is set for 8:00 p.m. at the Donald W. Reynolds Center.

Coaches vs. Cancer Suits and Sneakers Week is a nationwide initiative uniting basketball teams across the country for a common cause – saving lives from cancer. This season, the Suits & Sneakers Game will support childhood cancer research, services and awareness.

For all the money raised Wednesday night Tulsa head coach Frank Haith will match those funds.

Tulsa (12-6, 4-1 AAC) and #20-ranked Memphis (14-3, 3-1 AAC) square-off as two of only 3 teams in the American Athletic Conference with one loss. Tulsa is on a 3-game winning streak, while the Tigers have won its last 2 games and 12 of their last 14 contests.

Also on Wednesday, the first 2,500 fans will receive a FREE Rally towel.
