Tulsa's Horne Named to The American's Weekly Honor Roll
TULSA, Okla. –– University of Tulsa junior forward Jeriah Horne was named to the American Athletic Conference's weekly honor roll for the second time in three weeks after his performance in Tulsa's conference opener against Temple.
 
In the first game of the new year, Horne scored a game-high 23 points in 34 minutes. He shot 7-of-16 from the field for 43.8 percent and 4-of-10 from 3-point range for 40 percent. Horne added a game-high 7 rebounds, 2 assists and added a block and steal leading Tulsa to a 70-44 victory.
 
On the year, Horne averages 11.6 points and 4.5 rebounds in 14 games.
 
Tulsa will be in action next this coming Wednesday, Jan. 8, in Cincinnati, Ohio, against the Cincinnati Bearcats. The game is set for 6:00 p.m. (CT) and is an ESPNU broadcast. Tulsa returns home on Saturday, Jan. 11, to face American Athletic Conference opponent, Houston Cougars in an 3:00 p.m. tipoff.
