Tulsa Finalizes Non-Conference Football Schedules from 2021 thru 2023

TULSA, Okla. –– The University of Tulsa announced today that the school's non-conference football schedules for the seasons of 2021 thru 2023 have been finalized with the addition of home games against UC Davis in 2021 and Jacksonville State in 2022.

Games against Oklahoma State, Ohio State, Ole Miss, Washington and Oklahoma highlight Tulsa's schedules over those three seasons.

In 2021, Tulsa will open the season at home against UC Davis on Thursday, Sept. 2, before a pair of road games at Oklahoma State (Sept. 11) and Ohio State (Sept. 16). Tulsa will return home the next weekend to host Arkansas State (Sept. 25).

Tulsa and OSU have played 72 times in the series, while it will be Tulsa's second meeting against Ohio State, seventh against Arkansas State and the first time that the Hurricane faces UC Davis.

Tulsa opens the 2022 campaign at Wyoming (Sept. 3) then returns to H.A. Chapman Stadium for consecutive home games against Northern Illinois (Sept. 10) and Jacksonville State (Sept. 17). The Hurricane closes the non-league schedule on the road against Ole Miss (Sept. 24).

The Wyoming series is tied 3-3, while Tulsa has a 3-0 edge in the series against Mississippi. It will be the first meetings against NIU and Jacksonville State.

A return of the Oklahoma Sooners to Chapman Stadium highlights the 2023 schedule. Tulsa opens the campaign at home against UA-Pine Bluff (Sept. 2), travels to face the Washington Huskies of the Pac-12 on Sept. 9, before facing the Sooners (Sept. 19) a week later. Tulsa will then play the return game at Northern Illinois on Sept. 23.

Tulsa faces Washington and UAPB for the first time in school history, while Tulsa and Oklahoma have played 28 times.
