Tulsa Golden Hurricane All-Time Team Starters Announced

TULSA, Okla. – The Tulsa Golden Hurricane All-Time Team starting lineup is set, selected by Hurricane fans through Twitter polls over the past 12 days. The polling started on April 13 with fans voting on the starting catcher and ending on April 24 as the starting pitcher was confirmed.
 
Starting Lineup
 
Catcher: Kelly Miller
 
A four-year letterwinner and starter, who played in 194 games starting 177 contests. Miller recorded 133 hits and 64 RBIs and holds the school record for career fielding percentage with a  .994 clip. In her career, Miller committed only six errors in 1,057 career chances. She ranks among the school's top-10 for defensive chances and putouts for a single season . . . ranks eighth in defensive chances (1,057) and eighth in putouts (957) at TU. Her honors include a 1st Team All-Western Athletic Conference selection and a Second Team NFCA All-American.
 
1st Base: Katie Torres
 
A four-year letterwinner and starter, who played in and started all 238 career games in her career. Accumulated 204 hits, 113 RBI and 37 home runs. Torres is fourth All-Time for career home runs with 37. She holds the school record for walks drawn in a career with 133 and career putouts with 1,641. Had more walks during her career than strikeouts (133-115). She became the first TU player to earn all-conference honors four consecutive years. Her honors include 1st Team All-Conference USA, 1st Team All-Western Athletic Conference and two-time 2nd Team All-WAC. She was a two-time NFCA All-Region selection.
 
2nd Base: Morgan Neal
 
 A four-year letterwinner who hit .308 with 110 runs, 38 doubles, four triples, six homers and 110 RBIs in 230 career games. Her 230 games played rank seventh in program history. Neal's 38 doubles are tied for sixth all-time at TU, while she also ranks eighth with 217 hits and ninth on the career RBI list. Her honors include 2nd Team All-AAC, two-time American Athletic Conference All-Tournament team and AAC All-Rookie Team selection.
 
3rd Base: Jill Barrett
 
A four-year letterwinner, starting all 238 games at third base. She recorded 322 hits, 111 RBI, 183 runs scored, 30 doubles, eight triples, nine home runs and 74 walks. Barrett is Tulsa's All-Time career leader in batting average (.399), hits (322), runs scored (183) and at bats (808). She is also the All-Time single season leader for batting average (.461), on base percentage (.510), at bats (219), runs scored (59) and hits (101).  Barrett was a two-time NFCA Midwest Region first team, two-time All-C-USA first team and a two-time C-USA All-Academic Team selection. She competed at the IABF World Cup in August 2012 as a member of the USA Baseball Women's National Team.
 
Shortstop: Stacey Walkingstick
 
A four-year letterwinner and starter, playing and starting in all 251 games in her Tulsa career. She posted 100 or more assists in all four seasons, with 123 her senior year. She is the Hurricane All-Time career leader in assists (569), sacrifice hits (73) and games played and started with 251. She is also top-5 All-time in triples (9), stolen bases (65), hit by pitch (20), sacrifice flies (10) and stolen base percentage (.847). Her honors include being a two-time WAC All-Academic selection.
 
Outfield: Julia Hollingsworth
 
Four-year letterwinner who hit .378 with 50 stolen bases, 177 runs, 251 hits, 36 doubles, 15 triples, 13 homers and 103 RBIs in 222 games (216 starts). She owns the TU single-season (7) and career (15) records for triples. Hollingsworth also leaves the program with the TU career record for on-base percentage (.466). The outfielder ranks among the top 10 in program history in batting average (2nd; .378), runs scored (t-2nd; 177), hits (3rd; 251), stolen base percentage (4th; .847), stolen bases (4th; 50), walks (4th; 106), slugging percentage (5th; .536) and total bases (6th; 356). Her honors include the 2019 American Athletic Conference Player of the Year, three-time 1st Team All-AAC selection and a three-time NFCA All-Region selection.
 
 
Outfield: Caitlin Everett
 
A four-year letterwinner and starter playing all 228 games in center field. She had a .361 batting average, a .408 on-base percentage, a .427 slugging percentage, 283 hits, 87 RBI, 175 runs scored, 27 doubles, 12 triples, 61 walks and 110 stolen bases. Everett had a .988 fielding percentage with 234 putouts and 16 assists. She finished her career first in batting average, hits, steals, triples, stolen base percentage (.880 - 110-for-125) and at bats; second in runs; fourth in OBP; fifth in total bases (334); sixth in games played and games started; and ninth in RBI. The outfielder competed at the IABF World Cup in August 2012 as a member of the USA Baseball Women's National Team. Her honors as a Hurricane include, 1st team All-Conference USA selection, 2nd-Team All-Conference USA, All-Conference USA Freshman Team and a two-time NFCA All-Region selection.
 
Outfield: Lauren Lindsay
 
A four-year letterwinner and starter, playing and starting in all 225 games of her career. She had a .357 career batting average, which is the fourth highest in TU history.Lindsay holds the highest slugging percentage in school history at .671, as well as the second highest on-base percentage with a .454 average. She is second All-Time in runs with 129 runs scored and second in RBIs with 164. She is the all-time leader in doubles with 65, home runs with 50 and in total bases with 463. Lindsay was the 2010 Conference USA player of the year,  a four-time All-Conference USA selection, including first-team in 2008 ,2009 and 2010, and second-team in 2007. The outfielder was an NFCA All-American in 2010 and a two-time NFCA All-Region team selection.
 
Utility: Shelby Estocado
 
A four-year letterwinner who started 221 games and appeared in 226. She hit .288 on 193 hits with 130 RBI, 33 doubles, six triples, 30 home runs, a .490 slugging percentage and a .349 on-base percentage. Estocado closed her career ranked fourth in program history with 30 homers, fifth with 130 RBIs and seventh with 328 total bases. The all-around athlete was a first-team American Athletic Conference pick in 2016 and earned second-team honors in 2018. She spent the summer of 2016 with the USA Baseball Women's National Team. While at Tulsa, Estocado played third base, outfield and shortstop.
 
Designated Player: Lacey Middlebrooks
 
A three-year letterwinner who played in 162 games and started 156 games. She made 84 pitching appearances with 67 starts. Middlebrooks had a .296 batting average, with 76 RBI, 49 runs scored, 13 home runs, 33 doubles, a .488 slugging percentage, a .424 on-base percentage and 74 walks. From the circle, she had a 45-14 record, 2.21 ERA, 35 complete games, 10 shutouts, 415.2 innings pitched, 311 strikeouts, and allowed 333 hits, 177 runs, 131 earned runs, 233 walks and a .218 opponent batting average. Middlebrooks ranks in the top-10 career lowest ERA (2.21), opponent batting average (.218), wins (45), shutouts (10), strikeouts (311) and on base percentage (.424) She was a two-time NFCA All-Region selection, the 2012 C-USA Co-Pitcher of the Year and a three-time All-Conference USA 1st Team selection.
 
Weekend Rotation
ACE: Jordan Kinard
 
A four-year letterwinner who made 99 appearances and 77 starts. She posted a career record of 45-27 with a 2.67 career ERA, 48 complete games and 12 shutouts.  She is top-10 in school history for career opponent batting average (.211), most strikeouts per 7 innings (7.35), wins (45), appearances (99), starts (77), complete games (48), shutouts (12), innings pitched (490.2) and strikeouts (515). Her honors include, two-time All-Conference USA selection, Conference USA All-Rookie team and the C-USA Academic Medal.
 
Saturday Starter: Emily Watson – NFCA All-American, AAC Pitcher of the Year and All-Time single-season wins leader with 30.
Sunday Starter: Aimee Creger – Three-time NFCA All-American and Tulsa's All-Time wins leader (97).
Closer: Maren Genow – Two-time All-WAC 2nd team selection and 2nd All-Time in career saves with 9.
