IT’S DOWN TO THE CHAMPIONSHIP MATCHUP IN ‘TULSA MADNESS’

TULSA, Okla. –– It started on Monday, March 23 and will end on Wednesday, April 8, as fans have been voting on the top post-season teams in Golden Hurricane basketball history.
Sixteen teams began the trek to be crowned as "Tulsa Madness' CHAMPIONS three weeks ago and the 1994 "Sweet Sixteen" team coached by Tubby Smith will square-off against Bill Self's 2000 "Elite Eight" in the title matchup.
Voting takes place on the Tulsa basketball twitter account @TUMBasketball from 5 pm today (Tuesday, April 7) thru 5 p.m. tomorrow (Wednesday, April 8)
The 1993-94 team got into the championship game with a win over the 1980-81 NIT Championship team of Nolan Richardson, while the 1999-2000 team defeated the 2015-16 Frank Haith coached team in the other semifinal matchup.
