Frank Haith and Darien Jackson Take Questions from the Media at AAC Media Day

IRVING, Texas –– The American Athletic Conference held virtual media day for men's and women's basketball on Wednesday and Thursday. The Tulsa teams were up on Thursday.

Tulsa Head Coach Frank Haith and fifth-year senior guard Darien Jackson represented the men's team.
 
Jackson is The American's reigning Sixth Man of the Year. He played in all 23 of Tulsa's games last season, averaging 7.6 points and 4.0 rebounds in 25 minutes per game.

Tulsa will hold the Tulsa Hoops for ALS open scrimmage this Saturday, Oct. 16, at 3:00 p.m. at the Donald W. Reynolds Center.
  
The Hurricane will host Northeastern State in its only exhibition game this year on Wednesday, Nov. 3, while the regular season opener is a week later as Tulsa hosts Northwestern State (Nov. 10). Both games have a tip time of 7:00 p.m.
