
Tulsa’s Sam Griffin Named to AAC Honor Roll

IRVING, Texas. –– The University of Tulsa guard Sam Griffin was named to the American Athletic Conference's Honor Roll for his performances against Oregon State and at the Sunshine Slam over the weekend.
Griffin, a 6'3" sophomore from Miami, Fla. is in his first season with the Golden Hurricane. He averaged 17.3 points, 1.3 rebounds and 2.0 assists to help Tulsa go 2-1 this past week. Griffin was named to the all-tournament team for the Sunshine Slam, averaging 19.5 points in Tulsa's two games against Rhode Island and Utah. He also had 13 points and three assists in Tulsa's 64-58 win against Oregon State last Monday.
