Jaxon Player Gets PFF All-America Honors

TULSA, Okla. –– University of Tulsa defensive lineman Jaxon Player was named to the Pro Football Focus (PFF) All-America third team.
Player, a 6'0" sênior from Waco, Texas, has compiled 44 tackles, a team-high 12.5 TFL for -32 yards, three sacks, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery this year. His TFL total ranks third in the American Athletic Conference.
He earned second-team all-conference honors this season after earning first-team all-AAC accolades a year ago.
Player has been credited with 120 tackles in 40 career games. He has started 28 games in his four seasons and has recorded 29.5 TFL for -71 yards, six sacks for -21 yards, two fumbles caused, two fumble recoveries and has blocked four kicks in his career.
