Tulsa’s Jeriah Horne Earns Third AAC Honor Roll Selection

IRVING, Texas –– For the third time this season, the University of Tulsa men's basketball's Jeriah Horne was named to the American Athletic Conference Weekly Honor Roll following his performances in last week's games against ORU and Boise State.
 
Horne averaged 23.5 points while shooting 51.5 percent from the field and knocking down eight three-pointers. He also grabbed 13 rebounds in the two games. On the road against Oral Roberts, Horne set a career mark with 30 points on 11-of-19 (57.9 percent) shooting, including 5-of-8 (62.5 percent) from deep. He pulled down a team-high eight rebounds, as well.
 
The graduate student scored another 17 points and five rebounds in Friday night's road game with Boise State. He knocked down three treys and added a steal and a block.  
 
The Golden Hurricane returns to the Donald W. Reynolds Center on Tuesday night for a primetime matchup with Loyola Marymount. Tipoff is set for 8:00 p.m. (CT) on ESPNU.  Tulsa wraps up its homestand with games against Southern Illinois on Dec. 11, and Alcorn State on Dec. 16.
