The Tulsa women's soccer team dropped a 3-0 decision to #17 USF on Saturday night at Corbett Stadium in Tampa, Fla. The Golden Hurricane fell to 1-3 on the season, while USF moved to 4-0-1 overall and 3-0 in the league.

"They are a top-20 team for a reason and to play on their senior night made it an even tougher venue," Head Coach Kyle Cussen said. "They posed a lot of different problems and we changed some things to counter that. We found a way to create some chances and held them scoreless in the second half. We played the top four teams in our conference so far so we knew the beginning of the season would be difficult. Our goal was to get better each game and each half and I think we've done that."

Paula Leblic put the Bulls on the board at the 6:14 mark, while Meghan Cavanaugh added a score in the 34^th minute and Leblic made it 3-0 in the 40^th minute for the final score.

Gabriella Borboa, Isold Runarsdottir and Mia Darden all had one shot in the contest. Emma Malsy logged 57:54 between the posts and picked up six saves, while Raegan Beeding came in to finish the contest and picked up four saves.

USF had a 22-3 lead in shots, including a 13-2 advantage in shots on goal, and a 12-2 lead in corner kicks.

Tulsa returns to action on Sunday, March 21^st at Houston beginning at 1:00 pm.
