TU Student-Athletes Take Unity Walk

More than 200 student-athletes from The University of Tulsa walked three miles from campus to Black Wall Street on Wednesday morning on a TU Unity Walk.

The TU student-athletes and staff left the Donald W. Reynolds Center at 9 a.m. and arrived at the historic Vernon AME Church where Reverand Dr. Robert Turner spoke to the athletes. Dr. Turner gave a brief history of the building before giving a tour of the church.

Following the tour, TU student-athletes spent lunch and play time at BS Roberts Park with youth from the Tulsa Dream Center.
