TULSA, Okla. –– Tulsa softball head coach Crissy Strimple announced today the hiring of Madi Sue Montgomery to the Golden Hurricane coaching staff.
Montgomery joins the Hurricane after serving as a graduate assistant at her alma mater, Oklahoma State University, from 2019-2021, and she will work with the outfielders and assist with hitters.
"Our program is happy to bring Madison on board, and I am thrilled to add her coaching skills to our staff," Strimple said. "Madi Sue's achievements as a player at OSU and being part of their coaching staff the past two seasons gives her valuable experience to share with our student-athletes. Throughout the process it was easy to see her passion for the sport of softball and fits perfectly with our programs' philosophy"

"I am eager to start working with our student-athletes to help shape them not only as athletes, but also as people and teammates as well."
