Isold Runarsdottir scored on a penalty kick to give the Tulsa women's soccer team a 1-1 tie with Cincinnati on Thursday night at the Hurricane Soccer and Track Stadium. The Golden Hurricane moved to 6-4-3 on the season and 1-1-2 in American Athletic Conference play, while the Bearcats moved to 4-1-5 overall and 0-0-2 in the league.

"It was a heck of a performance from our girls," Head Coach Jim Rhein said. "That might be the most complete game we've played. It wasn't the prettiest game we've played, that is for sure, but they went out and competed like we wanted to compete and they did it for the full time. If someone made a mistake, someone else fixed it. It was a full team effort."

Tulsa will return to action on Sunday, October 9 against Houston beginning at 1:00 pm in Houston.

Paige Miller put the Bearcats on the board at the 45:31 mark as she scored on a combination from Lauren Bastian and Brandi Thomsen.

Isold Runarsdottir evened the score in the 67^th minute as she drilled in a penalty kick.
