TULSA, Okla. – The Tulsa women's soccer team added five players to its 2024 signing class, including Kaleigh Hart, Blaine Schutte, Ady Bechtel, Aniya Facen and Lauren McIntyre, head coach Jim Rhein announced on Tuesday.

"I'm so excited about our third recruiting class at the University of Tulsa," Rhein said. "We continue to grow and improve, and the program continues to get better. We're excited to have these five ladies join our program."

Facen, a 5'9" forward from Norman, Okla., plays club soccer for the Oklahoma Energy FC. She also is preparing for her senior season at Norman High School, where she has scored 38 career goals and was named the offensive player of the year for the school. Tulsa forward Kaylyn Simmons was teammates with Facen before graduating last year.

Another forward for the upcoming class, Schutte hails from Eureka, Mo. The 5'10" attacker is a two-sport athlete at Eureka High School, where she has lettered every season in soccer and basketball. In her three years playing with the team, Schutte has helped the Wildcats win 39 games with 37 goals and 18 assists. As a junior, she scored 21 goals and assisted on 10. She's a two-time all-state, all-conference and all-region selection. Schutte plays club soccer for Lou Fusz Athletic.

A Kennedale, Texas native, McIntyre will make the move north to Tulsa for her collegiate career. The defender plays soccer for D'Feeters Kicks Soccer Club, an ECNL club in North Texas. She is also a three-year letterwinner at Kennedale High School and was named First Team All-District as a junior. She plays as a center and outside back, but also has the capability to go forward and help in the attack.

Hart is a 5'5" midfielder and forward from Charlotte, N.C. She plays at the club level for Charlotte Soccer Academy and high school for Providence Day School. Hart has helped the Chargers find plenty of success, taking home NCISAA State Championships in 2022 and 2021, and CISAA Conference Championships in 2023 and 2021. Last season, the team fell just short of a three-peat with a loss in the championship game.

Bechtel is another Oklahoma product, joining Tulsa out of Edmond. The midfielder plays club soccer for Oklahoma Energy FC. She's also a multi-sport athlete at Edmond North High School, playing soccer and running cross country. She helped the Huskies to a runner-up finish in the state tournament her freshman campaign in 2022. Last season, Edmond North made it to the semifinal before seeing its season end.
