Riley Named American Conference Player of the Week

IRVING, Texas — After a career performance on Saturday, Tylen Riley was named the American Conference Player of the Week the league announced on Monday.
The junior had a monster game on Saturday against New Mexico State, scoring a career-high 29 points along with five assists. Riley was a scoring threat at every level, going 13-for-13 from the free throw line, the fifth most made in a game this season without a miss, while also hitting 4-of-5 threes and was 6-for-9 overall from the field.
Riley averaged 21.5 points over two games after scoring 14 points in Tulsa's blowout win over Arkansas Pine Bluff on Wednesday. For the week, Riley was 10-of-17 (.588) from the field, 5-of-8 (.625) from three, and 18-of-19 (.947) from the free throw line.
Tulsa is back in action on Friday when they hit the road to face Western Kentucky with a 6:30 p.m. tip-off on ESPN+.
