Green Earns American Conference Player of the Week Honors

IRVING, Texas — After a season-best 23 points against Denver, David Green earned American Conference Player of the Week the league announced on Monday.
 
Green scored 17 of his 23 points in the second half as Tulsa held off Denver for a 90-85 victory in the team's ninth straight win to close non-conference play. Green was efficient from the field, going 8-of-9 and 6-for-7 from the free throw line in just 19:34 of action. The Florida native also added three rebounds, two steals, and an assist as the Golden Hurricane improved to 12-1 for the first time since 1999-00.
 
Tulsa returns to the court to host Rice at 1 p.m. in the Reynolds Center on Wednesday, December 31 in the team's American Conference opener on ESPN U.
