IRVING, Texas - David Green earned American Conference Player of the Week Honorable Mention after leading the Golden Hurricane to a 2-0 week with convincing wins over Manhattan Christian and Missouri State.
The senior averaged 15.5 points and 5.0 rebounds on the week for Tulsa. The grad student had 14 points and seven rebounds in just under 18 minutes of action against Manhattan Christian on Tuesday. He followed that with 17 points and three rebounds in 19 minutes against Missouri State.
Tulsa is back at home on Wednesday at 7 p.m. as they host Arkansas - Pine Bluff in the Reynolds Center, looking for their sixth straight win.
