Men’s Basketball to Play in The Acrisure Series

PALM DESERT, Calif. – The University of Tulsa Men's Basketball team heads west to participate in The Acrisure Series, which was announced Monday. The Golden Hurricane will play on Nov. 25 and 26 inside Acrisure Arena, the premier sports and entertainment venue in the Coachella Valley.
The Golden Hurricane will participate in the Acrisure Holiday Invitational, which features TU, San Jose State, Northern Iowa, and Loyola-Chicago. On Tuesday, Nov. 25, Tulsa is set to be the first game of the day when they take on San Jose State at 12:30 p.m. CT. TU's second game will be either 1 p.m. or 3:30 p.m. CT on Wednesday against either Northern Iowa or Loyola-Chicago.
"We're excited to be part of the Acrisure Holiday Invitational — a first-class event in one of the country's premier venues," remarked head coach Eric Konkol. "The opportunity to play strong opponents on a neutral floor, back-to-back, mirrors the format of a conference tournament and provides an excellent opportunity for our team during Thanksgiving week."
