Cole Named to D1 Softball Top 100 List

TULSA, Okla. — Maci Cole was named one of the top players in the country when D1 Softball announced their Top 100 Mid-Majors players list. Cole, who led the Golden Hurricane in hitting a year ago, was ranked No. 73 by the publication.
Cole was the top hitter for Tulsa last season, pacing the team with a .316 batting average. She racked up 49 hits in her second season for the Golden Hurricane while also leading the team with 10 home runs, a .454 on-base percentage, and a .594 slugging percentage. Cole's efforts earned her First Team All-Conference honors at shortstop.
The Tulsa softball season opens in Lafayette, Louisiana on February 6 when the Golden Hurricane face Jacksonville State at 1 p.m. before taking on Louisiana later in the day.
