TULSA, Okla. – The University of Tulsa redshirt senior running back Dominic Richardson has been selected to play in the East-West Shrine Bowl, scheduled for Tuesday, January 27, at 6 p.m. CT at Ford Center at The Star in Frisco, Texas. The game will air on the NFL Network.

Richardson will compete for the West Team and will wear No. 47 in the all-star showcase. He becomes the 23rd Golden Hurricane to participate in the East-West Shrine Bowl and the first since Deneric Prince represented Tulsa in 2023. During the 2025 season, Richardson earned American Conference Second Team honors at running back after pacing the Golden Hurricane offense with 1,195 all-purpose yards. He became the 23rd player in program history to rush for 1,000 yards in a season—and the first since 2021—finishing the year with 1,065 rushing yards, the third-highest total in the American Conference.

Richardson recorded a career-high 203 rushing yards to help lead Tulsa to a comeback victory at Army on Nov. 22. He also added 20 receptions for 130 yards and scored five total touchdowns on the season.
