TULSA – A four-year letterwinner and two-year starter… has played in 47 career games with 24 starts … the 2021 season is his seventh season on the Tulsa roster … returned to the playing field in 2019 after coming back from what appeared to be a career-ending injury in 2018 … was diagnosed with Arnold Chiari Type 1 malformation, which likely had been there since birth … underwent surgery in February 2019 and was cleared to return to playing status in July … has 174 career tackles, 5.5 stops for -9 yards, 10 pass breakups, three fumble recoveries, one forced fumble and one interception … has four career double-digit tackle games.
 
2020 – Played and started in eight games … missed the USF game … was fourth on the team with 48 tackles … added four pass breakups, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery … collected a season-high 10 stops in the AAC Championship game at Cincinnati … was named Tulsa’s MVP of the Armed Forces Bowl after totaling seven tackles and one pass breakup against Mississippi State … tallied seven stops at #11 UCF …had five tackles, an 0.5 TFL for -2 yards and one PBU at Tulane … totaled five stops vs. #19 SMU and East Carolina  had 4 tackles, all solos, one fumble recovery and one pass breakup in the season opener at #11 Oklahoma State.
 
2019 – Played in and started all 12 games … compiled 57 stops, three pass break-ups, one forced fumble and one interception … totaled a season-high 10 tackles and had his first career interception against UCF … had a team-high nine stops vs. Oklahoma State … compiled five tackles at #23 Cincinnati … also recorded five tackles against San Jose State, #25 Memphis and Houston.
 
2018 – Played in the first two games and had one start … missed the remaining 10 games with an injury … received a medical hardship case … totaled 12 tackles in his two appearances … started the Texas contest and collected a career-high 11 tackles.
 
2017 – Played in all 12 games and started three contests … saw playing time in the defensive secondary and on special teams … his starting assignments came against Houston, UConn and Temple … totaled 37 tackles, including 25 solos … had a season-high 10 tackles against Tulane in his most extensive playing time at the safety position … added five stops each against Toledo, Houston and Memphis.
 
2016 – Played in 13 games … saw most of his playing time on special teams … was credited with 20 tackles and one fumble recovery … had season-highs of three tackles against Tulane and East Carolina.
 
2015 – Was one of several freshmen to sit out the 2015 season due to redshirt status.
 
HIGH SCHOOL – Was a three-year letterwinner and starter at Dallas Lincoln High School … started all three years on defense and offense … played receiver and safety … earned second-team all-district honors as a senior … was credited with 90 tackles, five forced fumbles and three interceptions his senior season  … tallied 88 stops and two interceptions as a junior and totaled 55 tackles his sophomore season … also had 532 yards receiving and four TDs as a junior on the offensive side of the ball … high school coach was John Towels.
 
PERSONAL – Favorite NFL team is the New Orleans Saints … his favorite NFL player is Tyrann Matthieu … his favorite professional athlete is the late Kobe Bryant … interested in the culinary arts … began playing football at age 9 … originally from New Orleans, Louisiana, but was displaced by Hurricane Katrina … parents are Shaun and Vonda Williams … received his degree in organizational studies the summer of 2020 … working on a degree in psychology … born December 27, 1996 in New Orleans, Louisiana.
