TULSA – A five-year letterwinner … played in 58 career games and had 23 starts … had 243 career tackles, 4.5 TFL for -12 yards, nine PBUs, seven forced fumbles, three fumble recoveries and one INT … had five career double-digit tackle games … was a College Sports Communicators (CSC) second-team Academic All-America selection in 2022. 

2022 – Played in and started all 12 games … totaled 99 tackles, while adding four TFL for -11 yards, one sack for -6 yards, three PBUs and one forced fumble had three double-digit tackle games … had seven games with at least nine tackles, while leading Tulsa in tackles in six games … tallied nine tackles vs. USF … tallied five stops, 1.5 TFL for -7 yards, one sack for -6 yards and one PBU at Memphis … had nine stops vs. #19 Tulane … totaled a team-high 11 tackles vs. SMU … had a team-high nine stops vs. Cincinnati and Temple … tallied a team-high 11 stops vs. #13 Ole Miss, along with one TFL for -2 yards … had six stops and one TFL for -2 yards vs. JAX State … totaled a new career-high 13 tackles vs. NIU … had eight tackles and one forced fumble in the opener at Wyoming … was a College Sports Communicators (CSC) second-team Academic All-America selection 

2021 – Played in all 13 games … had 42 stops, one forced fumble, one interception, one pass breakup and one QB hurry … named to the 2021 CoSIDA Academic All-District 7 team … started three games –– Oklahoma State, Ohio State and USF … had six stops and one QB hurry at South Florida … collected five tackles and his first career pickoff  vs. Memphis … his interception came with just over a minute to play against Memphis … totaled three stops, all solos, vs. Arkansas State … had six tackles and one forced fumble at #9 Ohio State … was the co-leader with eight tackles vs. Oklahoma State and added one PBU in a starting assignment … had four stops in the 2021 season opener vs. UC Davis. 

2020 – Played in all nine games and started one contest … tallied 17 tackles, including 11 solos, two fumble recoveries, two forced fumbles and one pass breakup … ranked third in the AAC for fumble recoveries per game …?tallied two tackles and caused a fumble and recovered a fumble on the same special teams play at #11 UCF … had a season-best five stops, all solos, and one pass breakup in a starting assignment at South Florida … collected two tackles and had one fumble recovery vs. East Carolina … totaled three stops at #6 Cincinnati in the AAC Championship game.    

2019 – Saw action in all 12 games … was credited with 22 stops and two caused fumbles … totaled a season-high four tackles vs. #25 Memphis … compiled three stops at Tulane … tallied two tackles in three games.  

2018 – Played in all 12 games and started seven contests … had 63 stops, four pass break-ups, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery … had two double-figure tackle games … totaled a season-high 12 stops and had one pass break-up against Tulane … had 10 stops and one pass break-up vs. Memphis … saw his first collegiate action in the opener vs. UCA, and had one tackle, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery that led to Tulsa's final touchdown … started his first career game vs. #23 USF, while collecting six tackles and one pass break-up … totaled nine tackles vs. UConn … tallied eight tackles at Arkansas ... had six tackles at Houston … compiled five tackles and one pass break-up against SMU. 

 2017 – Was one of several true freshmen to sit out the 2017 season due to redshirt status … suffered a season-ending knee injury in 2017 preseason camp.  

HIGH SCHOOL – Played quarterback, running back, receiver, linebacker and safety as a senior at Klein Collins High School … was named the 2016 Houston Touchdown Club Scholar-Athlete of the Year … led his team to a 13-2 record and the District 15-6A title his senior season … moved back to Texas and played his junior season at Cypress Woods High School after one year in North Carolina … passed for 763 yards and five TDs and rushed for 783 yards and 19 touchdowns his senior season … also had 173 yards and one TD receiving … was a second-team all-district selection at QB his junior campaign … passed for 1,610 yards and 21 TDs and rushed for 795 yards and 12 touchdowns his junior season … as a sophomore, earned second-team all-district accolades as a defensive back … also lettered two years in baseball … head coach at Klein Collins High School was Drew Svoboda. 

PERSONAL – Favorite NFL team is the Houston Texans …enjoys playing the guitar … his favorite movie is Goodwill Hunting … favorite book is Outliers … the word that he uses to best describe himself is “motivated” … favorite vacation spot is Daytona Beach, Florida … began playing football at age 8 … baseball is his favorite sport, other than football, to play … has three siblings … his younger brother, Colby, is also on the Tulsa roster … parents are Steve and Bruns Bryson … a Dean’s List member for four straight years … earned his bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering … working on his MBA … born August 28, 1998.
