A well-rounded basketball player who excelled in scoring and rebounding, Bobby Smith averaged 17.8 points for three seasons … scored 1,368 career points and had 729 rebounds, making him one of the top scorers and rebounders in school history … was selected to the All-Missouri Valley Conference and All-America teams for the 1968-69 season … had a solid professional basketball career with the Cleveland Cavaliers and San Diego Clippers.
