Through his outstanding blocking and devastating tackling, Bill Volok is remembered as one of The University of Tulsa's greatest guards … was elected captain of the 1933 team and was named to the All-Oklahoma team for three consecutive years … his efforts earned him All-America merits in 1931, '32 and '33 … went on to play professional football for the Chicago Cardinals.
