John Young was a standout on offense and defense as a four-year starter for Kendall College … was on teams that posted a four-year record of 31-3-2 … elected captain of the 1916 team that went 10-0 … co-captained the 1919 team that posted an 8-0-1 record … was twice selected to the All-Oklahoma football team, in 1916 as a halfback and 1919 as an end.
