Was a versatile athlete who lettered four years in football, playing both quarterback and end during his career with the Golden Hurricane. Played on teams that compiled a 28-7-1 record. Was a shifty runner who was equally adept at returning punts and catching passes. Was named to the All-Oklahoma squad in 1928.
