Kathy Baker was the national individual champion at the 1982 NCAA Championship, while leading Tulsa to both the NCAA and AIAW National Titles that season … placed ninth at the AIAW National Tournament in 1982, and placed sixth at the 1980 AIAW National Championship … earned first-team All-America merits in 1982 and ‘83 … placed in the top-20 in 14 career tournaments, and had 12 top-10 finishes … in addition to the NCAA title, she had two more career first-place finishes including the 1981 Nancy Lopez Invitational and 1982 San Jose State Invitational.
