Class of 2006
Was a two-sport athlete for the Hurricane, earning three letters each in baseball and basketball. An outstanding shortstop for the Tulsa baseball teams when he started for three consecutive years. Earned all-Missouri Valley Conference baseball honors for three seasons (1966, '67 and `68). In those three seasons, Tulsa finished each year in second-place in the MVC and compiled a three-year overall record of 58-18. Led the Hurricane in hitting with a .400 batting average in 1966 while also leading the team in stolen bases for two seasons. Completed his baseball career with a .362 batting average. Was a two-year starter in basketball after coming to Tulsa on a basketball scholarship.
