Brendan McNamara was named The University of Tulsa’s director of football video services in March 2023.

McNamara came to Tulsa following two years as the assistant video coordinator for football at the University of Minnesota. Before that, McNamara was the head video coordinator at Eastern Kentucky for the 2020 football season. Previously, he served one year as an intern assistant to the video coordinator for football at Wake Forest.

A 2019 Marian (Ind.) University graduate, McNamara was the student head of the football video department for all four years of college. He also served one year as a student assistant for the director of football operations. McNamara also spent time as a volunteer video assistant at Butler University during that time span.

McNamara earned his bachelor’s degree in history and secondary education in 2019 from Marian.
