FIRST YEAR


Mason Farquhar joined The University of Tulsa football coaching staff in May 2022 as a graduate assistant. He spent his first season on the defensive side of the ball before moving to offense in his second year.
 
The former Tulsa Union High School quarterback comes to Tulsa following two seasons as an offensive student coach/analyst at the University of Oklahoma, where he assisted with coaching the inside receivers.
 
Before that, Farquhar spent three seasons (2017-19) at Union High School as the junior high offensive coordinator and quarterback coach, while also assisting with the varsity team.
 
Farquhar spent two seasons at Southwest Baptist University as a scholarship quarterback before an injury ended his playing career. He started freshman season before his injury while helping lead Southwest Baptist to the school’s first conference championship and NCAA Division II playoff appearance.
 
Farquhar earned his bachelor’s degree in organization and motivation from Oklahoma in December 2021.
