Ty Darlington

- Ty Darlington was hired as the co-offensive coordinator and tight ends coach in December 2024 at TU.
- Prior to joining the TU coaching staff, Darlington spent two seasons at UIW. During the 2024 season, he was the offensive line coach, and during the 2023 season, he was the tight ends coach.
- Under his guidance, the UIW offensive line helped the Cardinals average 233.6 rushing yards per game.
- Before joining UIW, Darlington spent the 2022 season with the Florida Gators as a quality control coach.
- Darlington spent five seasons (2017-21) on staff at his alma mater, Oklahoma. He first served as an offensive analyst and later as an offensive graduate assistant for the final two seasons.
- In the Valero Alamo Bowl against Oregon, he served as the interim quarterbacks coach as true freshman Caleb Williams went 21-27 with 242 passing yards and three passing touchdowns.
- Darlington was a center for the Sooners from 2012 to 15 and played in 37 career games, with 26 starts.
- He had a highly decorated senior year, being named the Wuerffel and Campbell Trophy winner while earning honorable mention All-American by Sports Illustrated, All-Big 12 First Team by the league's coaches and Phil Steele, AP All-Big 12 Second Team, CoSIDA Academic All-American, and Big 12 Football Scholar-Athlete of the Year.
- Darlington signed with the Tennessee Titans in 2016 and later joined the Oklahoma athletics department as an administrative fellow for Sooner Sports TV.
- He graduated from Oklahoma in the arts and sciences planned program.
